Dr. Philip Jay “PJ” Magpantay

Dr. Philip Jay “PJ” Magpantay (Dr. PJ) has a Master’s in Public Health from the George Washington University and received his dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. During his dental training, he was recognized for clinical excellence in prosthetic dentistry and was welcomed into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. He furthered his dental education by being accepted into the General Practice Residency with the Baltimore VA hospital where he studied advanced techniques in all areas of general dentistry with a concentration in dental implantology. Dr. PJ has been a certified Preferred Provider for Invisalign and Six Month Smiles since 2008. He also maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southern Maryland Dental Association.

Dr. PJ prides himself on providing advanced clinical dentistry in a gentle and friendly manner. Although he is trained to take care of all of your dental concerns, he stresses the importance of preventive dental care to maintain and optimize your oral health. When not in the office, Dr. PJ enjoys training for trail running and obstacle course races. He also loves spending time at home with his wife and 2 kids.
