In-house oral surgeon

Our surgeon, Dr. Barry R. Maharaj, completed an oral and maxillofacial residency at Howard University, Washington D.C., in 1997. He became a faculty member for five years. He performs extractions (simple and complex), implant placement and bone grafting using local anesthesia or conscious sedation.

In-house periodontist

Our periodontist, Dr. Marc P. Stanard, is a 1989 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He completed a two-year general dentistry residency in 1991 at Emory University, and he completed his periodontal training in 1993 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is proficient in all phases of periodontics, with special interest in soft-tissue grafting.

Complementary oral cancer screening with our Velscope TM System

As part of our dental hygiene service we offer a complimentary oral cancer screening, with a new painless light system. The Velscope TM system will detect visual and non visual cancerous lesions.

Dental Sleep Medicine

We offer in office screening of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea using a sonic rhinometer and pharyngometer. Also, we offer a take home sleep evaluation using an embletta system. We can recommend severe cases to a sleep center for more sleep assessment and CPAP (Continues Positive Airway Pressure) evaluation.
As a dental office, we offer the fabrication and placement of an intra-oral dental appliance for the treatment of mild to moderate sleep apnea patients and for those who are CPAP intolerant.

For a close-up view of your teeth and gums. Let Dr. Kelly and his staff catch little problems now, before they become big (and more expensive) ones.

TMJ & headache treatment

We offer TMJ therapy, treatment for bruxism (grinding) and help with other dental joint disorders. Dr. Kelly has special training in headache and neck pain treatment.

Dental implant team

Over 20 years coordinating and placing dental implants. We coordinate oral surgery, periodontal care and restorative dentistry all in one office.
